Sort It

Today has been A Day™®. I messed up my sleep last night baaaad, and ended up sleeping in. Which is fine! It didn’t do me any harm, and it’s the weekend anyways.

What did get me is that suddenly I was bitten by a spate of anger and annoyance about the state of the house, directed at poor Z. I sat him down, and told him I was angry. Nobody raised voices, yelled, cried — we were amazingly adult and talking about the issue. I told him that I AM proud that he realised he can’t do everything he’d been trying to do, and that my frustration being directed at him wasn’t exactly fair either.

Still, the end result is positive — I’m putting out feelers to get someone in to declutter and do a deep clean. I’ve got someone coming on Monday to look around and quote, which I am feeling really proud about. ‘Cause like, that’s hard adulting. I don’t expect us to have a regular cleaner or anything like that, but getting someone in here to help us get it to manageable grounds will go so, so far for both the house, and our relative sanities.

Past that, sitting down and sorting through some of my Etsy listings. I’ve dropped the prices on pretty much all the earrings and plan on running a sale to try and shift bits. I don’t know if it’ll work, but yanno, got to try. 🙂
