The Winter Long

It’s still all scraggly and wintry looking outside, though today was rather warm. Having said that, they’re predicting snow this weekend and into next week… we’ll see. It’s always a ‘I’ll believe it when I see it’ sort of situation, since the forecasting here is… well, we’re an island, and that means the temps do weird shit, but there’s also ley lines and ridges and shit that mean snowfall can be spotty and sporadic and so on.

Still, hope we get some more. It’s very soothing to see (especially since we’re not out driving in it these days, not really!).

As for today, Smaller lost tooth #2, and then proceeded to lose it. I told her that she needs to write a wee note to the tooth faerie so that she knows what happened. Whether or not we remember (Z is serving up dinner right now) remains to be seen. If she/we forgets, I’ll make sure to write a little note for her to find with her 50p. 🙂
