Now, Batman is more than a little bit skittish about being picked up. I don’t help the situation because I love to pick him up for a cuddle which… bad me, I know. Still, sometimes he lets me snatch him up for a minute or two, and when he’s well down with it, he’ll bury his head in the crook of my arm. I pet him for a bit before moving my arm to let him go if he wants, and often he’ll hang out for a wee bit more. I guess I’ll always wish that he’d go back to being a bit of a lapcat, but I’ll take what I can get. 🙂
Past that, today was productive! Clean hair! Lots of work processed! Lack of dying while walking on an icy path! I mean, can’t do much better than that, amirite? *chuckles* We also did a bit more looking at potential new cars. We’re hoping to upgrade to something a bit bigger, in part because the boot of our current car is teeny, and also, I want something that is going to have room for my wheelchair, either on the top or in the back. The one thing that I wanted of 2020 (and obviously, didn’t get *laughs*) was a chance for us to do more family outings, which means busting out the chair so that I’m not murdered after 10 minutes. Like, I’m not talking going out every day, or even out any weekend, but it would just be really neat if we could get established enough with the concept to get out at least once or twice a month (once things are back to ‘normal’, at least).
Right, gonna go back to games and yarn and caffeine, and staring back at Batman.
