Sitting Shoes

Like my shoes? Z and the girls got them for me a few months ago. The problem is that they are sliiiiiightly too big, and are rather stiff plastic on the outside, so I haven’t broken them in properly yet. I think I have some moleskin in one of my drawers, so I might try padding the heels a wee bit and see if I can get things workable.

I am in a really good mood right now. I had another (another!) Etsy order, and I had pencilled in a trip to the Post Office anyways to pick up some things. I came back with the important things like bread and milk and lunchmeat, but I also came back with ice cream for me, and a mess of candy for all of us. Bonus, we’d already decided to order pizza. Something about having a belly full of a meal that someone else cooked is very, very satisfying, especially since it’s the first time we’ve done it since going into isolation a couple of weeks back.

Right, for now? Z got invited to the Minecraft Dungeons closed beta and sent me an invite as well, so I’m poking along in that. So far, it’s pretty good fun. I don’t like that there isn’t an effective pause option, even in offline mode… I’ll have to send my feedback to that effect. There’s also a popover explaining something that I can’t seem to get rid of, which is just super annoying.

What else… gonna see if I can ‘get away’ with doing my nails tonight after the girls are in bed. I really need to repaint to try and keep the nails from chipping so much, but I don’t have the spoons to deal with doing nails for two other people at the same time.
