Look! It’s my face! FAAAAAAACE. I don’t know, it amused me, so I went with it. That, and lack of ideas for other photos, so. *whistles*
It felt weird without Littler at home today. I’m glad she was back at school, but in my head, she was curled up on the couch quietly… but she wasn’t. I got some after-school cuddles though, even if it was just her wanting me to play Minecraft for her amusement. I’ll take it, ha ha. It’s not like I’m going to try to force her in my lap once she’s too big for it, so I treasure that she can still hang out there if she wants to.
Still, I guess her not being around enabled me to be productive. I finished off the year ends that I needed to do, and got clearance to return to normal working. I can’t remember if I’ve mentioned it before, but there’s a month end process that is supposed to be run before I start putting in more of the things, so it made sense to check. I don’t know how far along I am going to get on that tomorrow, but I’m feeling optimistic that I am going to be more on the ball on the whole this month.
I ended up staying in last night, which apparently was what almost everyone else was doing. I did a bit of knitting, but mainly it was to watch the football with Z. Our team didn’t win, but that was okay. They were playing a really tough team, and ‘we’ can be proud that we held our own through most of it. It amuses me though; before I moved here, I would have laughed if you told me I was ever going to follow a sports team. But considering I’ve played soccer//football off and on since childhood, it made it more acceptable? Plus, it’s something that Z likes, and part of a healthy marriage is finding ways to support the likes of a partner. Plus, bonus, a football match on in the background turns out to be excellent white noise. 😉
Right, dord.
